Our supply chain solutions include the following:
There's always room for improvement when it comes to flexibility, efficiency, speed and profits. In line with our lean enterprise philosophy, we continuously improve our operations by simplifying and harmonizing processes and eliminating waste. This need-based production helps lower costs for our customers. At the same time, it creates planning reliability, reduces supply, development and reaction times, and optimizes the use of resources. By synchronizing our production with your requirements we deliver at just the right time.
Do you want to optimize your processes? We are here to support you with our lean expertise, no matter what the project. Our CIP experts identify areas for improving efficiency in the packaging process, draw up proposals for improvement or offer basic training in lean management.
With electronic data interchange (EDI), order data is transmitted directly to the supplier’s system with minimal human intervention. The data is provided to our receiving system. Automating the exchange of information eliminates manual
dispatch and data entry, saving time and costs.
Efficient consumer response (ECR) is an important aspect of the lean philosophy. We work with you to examine the entire value chain and find areas where packing and processing can be optimized. The goal: to optimally fulfill your requirements.
Vendor-managed inventory (VMI) solutions reduce the amount of inventory and ensure that packaging is available. With VMI, we manage your storage facility. We determine how much packaging is needed based on your inventory and sales data, and ensure that the amount required for production is always available just-in-time. Possible approaches include inventory management through ERP system interfaces (for example SAP). According to your requirements, inventory can be stored at your facilities, at one of our production sites, or with a logistics service provider.
