Andreas Jung is new Managing Director at Limmatdruck | Zeiler

Spreitenbach/Köniz (CH), 12 January 2015 – Andreas Jung was appointed Managing Director of Limmatdruck | Zeiler AG, a Swiss subsidiary of the rlc | packaging group, on 01 January 2015. He succeeds Ulrich Nydegger, who will hand over business operations on 31 March 2015.

Industrial engineer Andreas Jung gained years of experience in the packaging industry in his former position as General Manager at Smurfit Kappa. In his new position in Switzerland, Jung's main objective is to move forward with the sites’ strong focus on products and target markets. In this respect, he appreciates the family-owned company's innovative strength and culture. Hans-Christian Bestehorn, rlc | packaging group Managing Partner and CEO, is pleased with the new arrival: "A packaging expert with many years of management experience in various companies, Mr. Jung comes to us with outstanding market and industry know-how."

Long-time Managing Director Ulrich Nydegger will be leaving his position at the end of the first quarter 2015. Mr. Nydegger clearly influenced the alliance between Limmatdruck and Zeiler and helped the company evolve to become Switzerland's leading folding box manufacturer. He will continue his involvement with rlc as President of the Limmatdruck | Zeiler AG Board of Trustees and Staff Foundation Council.

As a comprehensive system supplier, the rlc | packaging group operates several Centers of Excellence that are specialized in meeting the specific needs of target segments: Beauty, Pharma, Food and Luxury goods. Limmatdruck | Zeiler joined the rlc | packaging group in 2011. Exquisitely finished packaging for chocolates and pocket-size packs including ZetKLIK – also known as “Böxli” – have made Limmatdruck | Zeiler well known across in Europe. The company supports all processes across the packaging value chain with PAS Media, a provider of solutions for digital artwork lifecycle management, LD Media communications and media design, and packaging lines developed by ZET Engineering.
